Working with a child with autism or other developmental delay, takes a specific set of skills that the therapists at Children’s Milestone are equipped with. We make therapy fun through positive reinforcement. Our therapists are kind and compassionate, and expertly trained.

ABA Therapy
Our agency uses ABA, Applied Behavior Analysis, therapy. This focuses on social interaction, play, daily living skills, and decreased inappropriate behaviors for individuals with autism and other special needs that range from childhood to adulthood.
Our Goals
One of our main goals is to help enrich each autistic child’s life through effective and consistent ABA Therapy. This can require assistance from not only the therapist, but everyone involved in that child’s life. We work not only with your child but with your family as well to address the specific issues and needs of your child.
We are a licensed home and community-based provider in the state of Maryland. We are also a part of The Council of Autism Service Providers.

Our agency is directly connected to the field of ABA, because we are owned by a BCBA. Our focus is to help maximize the progress and potential of our clients through intensive ABA services. Our experts provide over 40 years of knowledge directly related to ABA and its provenresearch-basedd treatment.
We Are Also Multi-Lingual
We employ both Spanish and English speaking staff and can provide other translation services to help ensure the effectiveness of your child’s treatment. These translation and multilingual services can be between staff members, therapists, and the families we serve.

We work one-on-one with the child and the family. We bring the focus onto the child and find what will work best depending on their various strengths and weaknesses, along with what they need. All our treatment plans are individualized to promote socially appropriate skills while also helping to decrease any negative behaviors or patterns.
